Chart Management in XYB Console - Overview

You can easily create and manage the entire chart structure for your customers directly in Console. This includes setting up charts, accounts, and wallet, all in one place. Console provides a visual and intuitive interface that’s especially useful for finance and operations teams who prefer working through a UI instead of code. Whether you’re onboarding a new customer or updating an existing setup, Console makes the process straightforward and accessible.

🔁 Other options: While Console is designed for ease of use, you can also manage chart structures programmatically using our Command Line tool (Luca) or APIs. These are ideal if you’re integrating into your own systems or working in an engineering-heavy environment.

What You Can Do in Console (UI)

In the Chart Management section of Console, you can:

  • Create charts manually - Start with a blank chart and build it up.

  • Add accounts to a chart - Organize your chart structure by account types.

  • Attach wallets to accounts - Define currencies, decimal precision, and accounting types.

  • Tag and label - Use metadata (tags and attributes) for classification and filtering.

  • Bulk import - Use a CSV template to upload entire chart structures at once.

The UI gives you a centralized, structured view of everything you’ve built. Each chart is listed, and you can expand it to see the accounts and wallets under it.

This setup works well whether you’re managing one customer or many. You can configure each chart independently, giving you control and clarity across your ledger setup.
