Ledger Operations in XYB Console

The Console UI empowers operations and support teams to manage and explore the ledger through a clear, visual interface. It provides direct access to chart structures, balances, and financial record history, making it easier to stay on top of financial activities. It offers full visibility and control without the need for developer access or automation tools.

You will be provided the Console credentials during the onboarding process. If you've not received the credentials, contact your account manager.

Console supports managing your ledger structure and tracking its activity, including:

a) Chart Setup & Management

  • Create and manage charts, accounts, and wallets

  • Set wallet-level configurations like currency, decimal precision, and accounting type

  • Add metadata (tags and attributes) to organize and categorize accounts and wallets

  • Use bulk import via CSV to configure multiple ledger elements at once

b) View Balances

  • Navigate from chart > account > wallet to explore balances

  • See total committed balances by currency

  • Review reserved debit/credit values

  • Search and filter across accounts using metadata and creation dates

c) Explore Postings

  • View all postings that have updated wallet balances

  • Search by posting ID or filter by date, currency, tags, or metadata

  • Click into postings to see full transaction detail, including both debit and credit sides

d) Manually Record Transactions

  • Create ad hoc value transfers between wallets directly in the UI

  • Set the value date (effective timestamp)

  • Add context with tags, attributes, and a required description

  • Review and execute transactions with a full preview step
