# XYB 2.1 Platform Release Notes

## XYB Platform 2.1 Release Notes

#### 1. Account Statements

**Downloadable Statements in CSV, BAI2, and PDF**

This release introduces the ability to generate and download account statements directly from the platform, giving treasury and finance teams a self-service way to produce records for reconciliation, reporting, and sharing with counterparties or auditors.

* **CSV format:** Suitable for general reporting and import into spreadsheets or internal tools.
* **BAI2 format:** Designed for direct use with treasury management and bank reconciliation systems.
* **Formatted PDF:** A branded, readable statement suitable for sharing externally with counterparties or auditors.
* **Statement history:** All generated statements are saved and accessible from a dedicated list view within the platform, so you can retrieve past statements at any time.

#### 2. Treasury Dashboards and Roles

**Role-Specific Views for Treasury Teams**

This release introduces role-specific dashboards and a new Treasury Manager role, giving treasury teams a focused view of the information most relevant to their work.

* **CFO Dashboard:** A high-level view of cash positions, payment volumes, and approval status.
* **AP Manager Dashboard:** Visibility into the change request queue, pending approvals, and team activity.
* **AP Specialist Dashboard:** A focused view of payment initiation status and outstanding actions.
* **Admin Dashboard:** Platform-level visibility for administrators.
* **Treasury Manager role:** A new role that can be assigned to users through the standard user management flow, unlocking access to the relevant dashboard views.

#### 3. Payment Controls and Approvals

**Stronger Risk Checks and Clearer Approval Feedback**

Payments now go through an additional risk check before entering the approval workflow, and approvers can provide structured feedback when rejecting a request.

* **Risk assessment at submission:** Payments are now risk-assessed as soon as they're submitted, rather than only at execution — reducing the chance of duplicate approvals or incorrectly routed payments.
* **Structured rejection reasons:** When rejecting a change request, approvers can now select a reason code alongside their written comments. The reason is visible to the person who raised the request and is captured in the audit record for future reference.

#### 4. Credit and Collateral

**Expanded Credit Product Configuration and Collateral Management**

This release includes a set of improvements to credit product management and collateral workflows, aimed at supporting more complex lending structures and reducing manual work.

* **Updated Euribor base rates:** Base rates are now pulled from an updated data source and display correctly under each contract.
* **Expanded credit line and guarantee configuration:** Credit line and guarantee products now support additional configuration options for more complex lending structures.
* **Automatic commitment interest invoicing:** Commitment interest schedule invoices can now be generated automatically, reducing manual effort for revolving credit and commitment-based lending.
* **Pledgee management:** Pledgee details and status can now be managed directly within the collateral module.
* **Customer Due Diligence (CDD):** CDD workflows are now available to support onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements.

#### 5. Improvements and Fixes

* Improved payment and beneficiary workflows, including the ability to select which payment details to use when a payee has multiple accounts on file, and a live balance display on the payment form.
* Strengthened platform controls, with auditing now in place for key actions and automated notifications for credit contract events.
* Redesigned console navigation with clearer groupings, smoother transitions, and improved visual consistency across the platform.
* Fixed a range of issues across payments, approvals, credit contracts, collateral, access management, and the console — including incorrect badge behaviour on new payees, errors in contract creation and download, role changes not removing previous permissions, and several UI display issues.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.xyb.co/platform-release-notes/xyb-platform-2.0-release-notes/xyb-2.1-platform-release-notes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
